Kyra Ducoat is a third year law student at Northeastern University School of Law and Law Clerk at Bay State IP, focusing on patent and trademark prosecution. Specifically, Kyra assists clients through the complexities of securing and protecting their innovations. In particular, Kyra works closely with attorneys to prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications for inventions across various technologies, as well as trademark applications for businesses seeking to protect their brands.
Kyra earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida majoring in Biology and passed the USPTO Registration Examination in December 2024. While in law school, Kyra has completed three legal co-ops and participated in the IP Clinic at Northeastern University.
